Position Summary

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the WDPI sales team with the pre-sale and post-sale process and managing sales orders throughout the operational process. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working under strict deadlines. The individual must have the ability to interact effectively with external and internal customers, including sales teams and sales management. The individual must have a take-charge attitude and a strong sense of urgency. Furthermore, this position requires an individual who is effective working in a fast-paced environment, managing frequently changing priorities. The individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Track and troubleshoot sales orders throughout the operational process.
Document, track, and arrange courier service for sales and purchase orders to ensure delivery.
Arrange freight service as needed (air freight, padded van, international) for sales and purchase orders.
Manage, maintain and monitor the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and policy.
Contact vendors (as directed by Sales Rep/Broker) to confirm the receipt of purchase orders.
Track and document "drop ships" to ensure the sales orders are invoiced.
Troubleshoot and solve customer service issues with both internal and external customers and vendors.
Review, track and file PO's/SO's and/or contracts as received from Sales Reps.
Research order issues, advise customers on how to handle freight claims, and file freight claims.
Coordinate and utilize product tracking software to manage product logistics.
Process international orders as required by business needs:
- Classify equipment using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
- Process Electronic Export Information (EEI) via ACE/AES.
- Maintain documentation required by law for international orders.
Provide switchboard coverage, including lunch hour coverage, in coordination with the Sales Support team and administrative staff.

Essential Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of sales support or administrative experience. Strong customer service focus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a flexible, team player who takes pride in ensuring professional results and customer satisfaction.
Ability to multi-task, work under strict deadlines and anticipate internal and external customer needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
Logistics experience as it relates to scheduling freight and courier services preferred
Working experience with a CRM/ERP system preferred
